There are multiple ways-to-save on popular Black Friday. Here's a look at what to buy and what not to buy

KNOXVILLE, TN – There are multiple ways-to-save outlined here by consumer reporter Matt Granite whose reviewed all the possibilities available on Black Friday, the most popular day to shop of the entire year. Granite can tell you what to buy and when, but mostly when as he demonstrates the best way to get a bargain on Nov. 24.
Step 1: Five Things You Shouldn’t Buy On Black Friday.
1. Gift Cards. They’re the most requested and the most given gift, but don’t buy them on Black Friday. Instead wait until Cyber Monday or the days leading up to Christmas when you’ll get better incentives.

2. Fitness Equipment. Bottom line, wait until January when you’ll get a better deal.
3. Toys. Unless you’re shopping for remote control cars wait until the first week of December. And even then don’t make a purchase unless you can get a $35 toy box chock full of toys.

4. Jewelry. If you must buy for Christmas wait until the two weeks leading up to Christmas, but the better deals are in the first half of February as retailers prepare for Valentine’s Day.
5. Patio Items and Outdoor Grills. Just say no and wait until Memorial Day, July 4, or Labor Day. Or, if you’re an Amazon Prime member, Prime Day, July 5.
The 10 Best Deals at Walmart and Target are electronic, but the 10 Best Deals overall include linens, luggage and cookware. So you never know what you might find.
