Elysium Salon Suites and Tattoo Academy Open Doors in Knoxville

Elysium Salon Suites and Elysium Cosmetic Tattoos + Academy, a new 2-in-1 beauty destination in Knoxville, is set to open on May 19. The two-in-one location is expected to provide clients and service providers alike with a stunning open space that fosters creativity and community. From leasing salon suites, participating in apprenticeships, and receiving top-quality services, Elysium is well on its way to becoming a Knoxville staple.

Located at 2507 Mineral Springs Avenue, the Celebration of Business event will be hosted on May 19 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will allow guests to tour the location including the individual styling rooms. Charcuterie boards, a mimosa bar and juices and smoothies provided by Jupiter’s Juice and Smoothie truck will be served as refreshments. Stylists will also be performing blowouts and tinsel on-site throughout the event. Additionally, all attendees can participate in a raffle that includes a permanent makeup service, hair services, nail services, brow lamination with wax/tint, eyelash extensions and two small tattoos. Elysium stylists will also be offering special discounts for the following services: 20% off microblading or a permanent makeup service, 50% off a small tattoo, 1/2 off full acrylic nail sets, 25% off hair color service, 25% off full highlight, 25% off full extension install and more.

Founded by seasoned cosmetic professional and permanent makeup artist, Nicolette Koshaba, the 2,600-sq. ft. Elysium offers 14 private studio spaces for hair stylists, cosmetologists, estheticians, nail techs, and permanent makeup artists. The facility allows creative professionals to run their own salon business without the added costs of building maintenance and other risks associated with business ownership. Elysium Salon Suites is equipped with a kitchen, laundry service and keyless entry for 24/7 access. The facility also offers a vacation week (one free week per calendar year) and incentives such as the first 2 weeks free and an additional 2 weeks free when referring a tenant.

The academy offers intensive training courses suited for beginners and advanced students, with hands-on practice on paper, latex and live models. Beginning in August, Elysium Cosmetic Tattoos + Academy will accept apprentices for permanent makeup, offering a 1-year program with 200+ hours and a flexible schedule for completion. The goal is to provide the apprentices with the technical skills and confidence needed to start working directly after completing the course.
