Knoxville Chamber: Merit Construction Adds Two New Project Managers And A Project Engineer To Team
The new hires are Amy DePinto, Taylor Dooley and Shane Holt.

Merit Construction, Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of two new Project Managers and a Project Engineer to their team of professionals. Amy DePinto, the first female Project Manager at Merit, comes to Knoxville from Premier Design + Build Group out of the Chicagoland area in Illinois, where she worked on several large projects including healthcare, office spaces and manufacturing. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the international Academy of Merchandise and Design in 2000 and a master’s degree in Project Management from the Devry/Keller School of Business Management in 2015.

Also joining Merit as a Project Manager is Taylor Dooley who joins Merit from Leapley Construction in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a Project Manager there on healthcare construction projects. Taylor graduation from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction in 2012.
Additionally new at Merit is Shane Holt who is a Project Engineer and comes to Knoxville from Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked with the Austin Jones Corporation on the remodel of Walmart. Shane has a bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville in 2020.
