Knoxville Memory Care Celebrates Fatherhood with a Show of Hands
Fathers at Concord Place were photographed with meaningful items to capture the essence of Dad.
A Knoxville memory care community created new memories for Father’s Day. Concord Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, photographed their male residents’ hands holding meaningful items as a way to capture the essence of Dad.
Each of the objects such as a watch, compass, bible or hat, tell a story of guidance, faith and care.
“We wanted the fathers here to feel truly special, encouraging them to choose their own theme to reflect their journey,” said Lorie Ann Wilson, life engagement director for Concord Place. “It’s a wonderful way for our seniors to connect with their family, and it brings joy and meaning to all. The families have been overwhelmed with the project and plan to cherish these images forever.”
