Knoxville's Merit Construction Hires New Project Engineer

Shannon Sapp, President of Merit Construction, Inc. in Knoxville, TN, has announced the hiring of Shane Holt as a new Project Engineer. Holt comes to Merit from the Austin Jones Corporation of Irvine, California. He was previously a Field Project Assistant on the remodel of a Walmart in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We are really pleased to be able to hire Shane at Merit and to bring him back to Tennessee where he attended college,” said Sapp. “ Shane will serve as a project engineer on several of Merit’s new contracts in this area and we look forward to having him as part of our Merit family.”

Holt was educated at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and has been very engaged in volunteer ministries and mission work in Haiti and Nevis. He also has a PROCORE Project Manager and Superintendent Certificate.
