Memory Care Seniors Rock with Elvis
Concord Place residents celebrated the King of Rock and Roll with ElvisPalooza.
Some Knoxville seniors donned their blue suede shoes when the king of rock and roll came to visit. Residents from Concord Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, celebrated ElvisPalooza at the community located at 901 Concord Rd., Knoxville. The group celebrated Elvis Week marking the 48th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death.
“Music can trigger wonderful memories, and dancing is a great way to connect with others,” said Lorie Ann Wilson, life engagement director for Concord Place. “Our residents light up when they hear their favorite music, and it brings them pure joy.”
