The dining choices range from the more formal, Chesapeake’s on Union Avenue and Ruth Chris on Volunteer Landing, both of which require reservations, to grocery stores with multiple locations and to go meals only, Kroger, Food City, Fresh Market, and Publix. There’s also a wide variety options from BBQ restaurants including Sweet P’s on Jackson Avenue.

On the other end of the spectrum are the ultra healthy options, Earth Fare with locations on Parkside and North Forest Park Boulevard, and Three Rivers Market on Central Avenue have carry out options. And, of course, there are the area favorites holiday or not: Cracker Barrel, Calhoun’s, Shoney’s, and Smoky Mountain Brewery.
