• Longtime County Attorney Dies - Main Street Media of Tennessee (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Lawrenceburg residents are mourning longtime Lawrence County Attorney Charles “Charlie” Holt Jr., who died Dec. 10 at age 74 after more than three decades advising county leaders. A former Smyrna teacher and coach, Holt built his legal career at a Lawrenceburg firm and was praised by county officials for his integrity and steady guidance. He is survived by his wife Martha, daughter Cassie, and son Trey of Lawrenceburg.
   

• Lillian Lanning Henson (radio7media.com) — Lawrenceburg native Lillian Lanning Henson, 82, will be remembered with a memorial visitation and service at Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg on Friday, December 19. A longtime Knoxville educator and beloved family matriarch, she leaves close relatives still living in Lawrenceburg along with children, grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter across Tennessee and Kentucky.
