• Columbia State pre-apprentice lineworkers compete (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Lawrenceburg is represented in Columbia State’s Pre-Apprentice Lineworker Academy, where local student Braden Fields earned a full scholarship funded by Tennessee Valley Authority and Lawrenceburg Utility Systems in memory of a fallen Lawrenceburg lineworker. The mini-rodeo showcased students’ climbing and safety skills, and several Middle Tennessee participants received certifications and scholarships that prepare them for well-paying utility careers.
