Tennessee Winter Weather: 136K Households Without Power

More than 136,000 households in west Tennessee don't have power, with the majority of the outages in the Memphis area.

MEMPHIS, TN — West Tennessee is experiencing wide-reaching power outages Thursday as a result of Winter Storm Landon moving through the state.

More than 136,000 customers in Tennessee's western-most counties are without power, with most of those outages occurring in Memphis and Shelby County, according to poweroutage.us.

More than 118,000 households in Shelby County don't have power as of 1:45 p.m., according to the outage map. Other counties heavily hit by outages include Fayette, Haywood, Tipton, Crockett, Gibson and Lauderdale.
