2 Arrested In North Nashville Gas Station Shooting
Metro Police said tips from neighbors helped nab two men suspected in a North Nashville gas station shooting.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The alleged gunman and getaway driver in a North Nashville gas station shooting are behind bars.
Around 2 a.m. Tuesday, two men pulled into the Marathon station on John Merritt Boulevard. Their car began to roll and were alerted to same by a 39-year-old man in the parking lot. According to a police report, Andre Chamberlain, 52, got out of the car and began arguing with the man and several others before reaching into the car and grabbing a pistol, shooting the 39-year-old six times in the leg.
Chamberlain then got back into the car, which sped away from the station.

Tips from neighbors and other witnesses helped police identify Chamberlain, who is charged with attempted criminal homicide and felon in possession of a handgun.
Police also arrested 61-year-old Raymond Charette, who reportedly admitted he was the driver of the car. He is charged with felony accessory after the fact.
