2 Charged In Nashville Pizza Delivery Man's Murder

Though two people have been charged with the August murder of a pizza delivery driver, police expect "additional arrests."

NASHVILLE, TN -- Two men are in custody for the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery driver in August.

The Davidson County grand jury indicted Michael Branch Jr., 27, and Marrino Seay, 29, for the first-degree murder and aggravated robbery of Doniyor Abdumadjidov, 40, who was found dead on Batavia Street early in the morning of August 25, 2017.

Branch, of Memphis, is in the Metro Nashville Jail and is also charged with attempted aggravated robbery for an incident on Herman Street just prior to Abdumadjidov’s murder.

Seay, of East Nashville, is jailed in Memphis on an unrelated burglary charge and is expected to be returned to Nashville forthwith.

Metro Police say the investigation into Abdumadjidov’s murder continues and "additional arrests are anticipated."
