Arrest Made In Fatal North Nashville Shooting

A 23-year-old man is charged with the murder of a 20-year-old in North Nashville Saturday morning.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 23-year-old man is charged with the murder of a 20-year-old who was found shot dead in a car outside a North Nashville business Saturday morning.

Metro Police said Davario Kendricks was discovered around 8:40 Saturday morning in a car outside a business near the Jefferson Street-16th Avenue intersection.

According to investigators, James Moore, Jr., admitted he was present during the shooting but said he did not shoot Kendricks; however, detective say surveillance footage only shows Kendricks and Moore on the scene.

Moore is charged with criminal homicide and is being held on a $150,000 bond.

No motive has been released.
