Here are the top three stories in Nashville today:
- FBI agents arrested 25-year-old Joshua Hensley of Kansas for allegedly threatening to “make shrapnel pressure cooker bombs” and “commit a mass shooting” at the annual Nashville Pride celebration this year. The threats were allegedly posted on Facebook comments in April. Hensley has been indicted on two counts of transmitting an interstate threat. (NBC News)
- Parents found a stranger sleeping in bed between their kids at a Nashville rental property. Metro Police arrested and charged 31-year-old Tanner Thomas Tamsin was aggravated burglary and assault. Tamsin has since been released. (WSMV)
- On Tuesday, Jun. 21, Nashville City Council unanimously passed the city's $3.2 billion budget. With a six percent cost-of-living wage increase for Metro employees and an almost $100 million increase in funding for public schools, the fiscal year 2024 budget is 6.2 percent larger than last year's budget. Metro Finance Director Kelly Flannery said there is $188 million in projected new revenue. (The Tennessean)

- After a woman reported her new iPhone missing in downtown Nashville, the Metro Nashville Police Department tracked it to the restaurant's parking lot and found 54-year-old Orelvy Hernandez Montero. Police were able to arrest Montero and found almost 20 phones wrapped in aluminum foil inside an SUV. Investigators suspect Montero is part of a local organized crime operation targeting cell phones. (Local 10 News)

- Metropolitan Nashville Police Department posted a picture of a tattoo in the hopes of identifying a woman who was discovered deceased from a suspected accidental drug overdose.
