Belmont Students Support Sodexo Stop Hunger Initiative in October

Belmont University students have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the fight against hunger through their everyday purchases.

For the entire month of October, Belmont University students have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the fight against hunger through their everyday purchases. Partnering with General Mills and WK Kellogg Co., Sodexo’s Stop Hunger Foundation will receive an $0.08 donation for each cereal-in-a-cup case purchased at Belmont’s Corner Court and We Proudly Serve Starbucks locations.

This initiative is part of Sodexo’s ongoing effort to combat hunger on a global scale, with the Stop Hunger Foundation’s mission to work toward a hunger-free world. By engaging students in this cause, the university creates a direct connection between small actions and meaningful impact.

Throughout October, students who purchase participating cereal products can feel good knowing that they are helping to support this mission. “It's amazing that everyday choices, like purchasing favorite cereals, can contribute to something meaningful,” shared Katie Allen, a Belmont University student.

This initiative runs until the end of October at Corner Court and We Proudly Serve Starbucks on Belmont’s campus. Students are encouraged to take part and help make a difference, one cup of cereal at a time.
