Drugs, Guns, Cash Seized In Nashville Bust: Police

Metro Police said marijuana, LSD, Xanax and five handguns were found in a North Nashville home.

NASHVILLE, TN -- LSD, marijuana, Xanax and handguns were taken from a North Nashville home following a bust, according to Metro Police.

Investigators say they found about 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 30 hits of LSD, a Xanax bar and five handguns inside a Glade Street home Tuesday. More than $2,400 in cash was seized, as well.

Deamontay Taylor, Kimberly Benezue, Corrice Thompson, and Austin Dehne were all arrested.

Taylor reportedly admitted a half pound of the pot was his, in addition to the cash, which he allegedly said came from drug sales. A Glock 27 found in the home belong to him as well, detectives said.

Thompson allegedly admitted he hid a .380 pistol in a back closet when police arrived and Dehne claimed another half pound of marijuana.

All four are charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and more charges are likely, police said.
