Freeze Warning For Middle Tennessee Overnight

Temperatures across Middle Tennessee will dive toward freezing overnight, imperiling plants.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Cover those flowers and plant before bedtime Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning starting at midnight running through 9 a.m. Thursday, quite a change from the 80-degree high and subsequent severe storms of Tuesday and a windy cool but springy Wednesday.

Widespread frost is expected, particularly between 2 and 9 a.m.
