Golf Cart Hit-And-Run Driver On The Lam: Nashville Police
Metro Police continue to search for the driver of a car that hit a golf cart downtown late Sunday morning.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A golf cart criss-crossing downtown slammed into a tree after a hit-and-run accident late Sunday morning.
The golf cart, which was carrying four passengers plus the driver, was driving down Korean Veterans Boulevard near Third Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Sunday when a white Dodge Avenger attempted to pull around and pass it.

Once the Dodge made it around the cart, the driver reportedly slammed on his brakes, causing the golf cart to rear-end him and then careen into a tree.
The Dodge then drove off.

None of the golf cart's passengers were seriously injured.
Witnesses said the driver of the Dodge was a white man in his mid-30s with facial hair.
