  1. State lawmakers could face punishment after disrupting a Tennessee General Assembly session with bullhorns on Thursday. Just before 11 a.m., Rep. Justin Jones, D-Nashville, and Rep. Justin Pearson, D-Memphis, disrupted the House floor session by taking a bullhorn and leading the gallery in chants. They stopped after they were reprimanded by members of their own party and later by the Speaker of the House during a 30-minute recess, and while Jones and Pearson were not formally reprimanded on the floor, repercussions could be pursued next week. 2. The Nashville Rescue Mission is seeking volunteers to serve those experiencing homelessness. The mission provides emergency services like food, shelter, and clothing to those in need and is always looking for volunteers to work in the kitchen and warehouse. The rescue mission also offers a Life Recovery Program that teaches participants how to make better life choices in crucial areas, such as financial planning, job preparedness, and transitional housing. 3. A man has been booked on multiple warrants after a shootout with his neighbor led to another person’s death on Thursday evening. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a neighbor of the suspect 30-year-old Teddarrius Perry asked his friend, 29-year-old Mitchell Steele Jr., for help moving out of his apartment on 14th Avenue North.
