Man Found Dead On North Nashville Porch After Frigid Night
Metro Police are investigating if a man found on porch died because of the dangerously cold temperatures.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A man was found dead on a North Nashville porch Tuesday morning and investigators are trying to determine if the bitter overnight temperatures led to his death.
Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard around 6:30 Tuesday morning after a relative found the man's body on the porch. Police do not suspect foul play.
Metro is at Cold Weather Response Level Three and has opened emergency shelters throughout the city and outreach teams are canvassing the streets to help people who are homeless. In addition, the Humane Association has its mobile pet unit at the Hadley Park Community Center shelter for people who are homeless who have animal companions.
