Metro Police Sergeant Arrested For Assaulting Detective

A Metro Police sergeant is accused of pointing his handgun at another MNPD officer after a meeting.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A Metro Police sergeant pointed his service revolver at a detective after a meeting, according to MNPD.

Midtown Hills Precinct detective Sgt. Andrew Injaychock, 42, allegedly pointed his pistol at another detective after she attended a meeting with other detectives and the precinct commander.

Injaychock allegedly demanded to know what was discussed in the meeting and when that information wasn't forthcoming, he allegedly waved his gun at the other detective and pointed it at her chest.
