NASHVILLE, TN -- At least 10 people have died from hypothermia in the last month in Davidson County, Metro's medical examiner told WKRN.
Dr. Feng Li told the station that 15 people in the last four weeks have been found dead outside in the cold and that while five of the deaths are still under investigation, the other 10 are confirmed hypothermia deaths.
Li said that the majority of the deaths are people who are homeless, but other vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, are also being affected.
