Nashville Area Weather Forecast: Frigid, Snowy Start To The Week
A bitterly cold and snowy start to the week will eventually give way to slightly warmer temperatures across Middle Tennessee.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The coldest temperatures of the season are on tap for the early part of this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Tuesday's high will struggle to get out of the teens, with lows down in the single digits. A slight warm-up comes later in the week, with 60s possible by the weekend.
Monday: A chance of snow after 3 p.m., high of 42. A winter weather advisory overnight with snow likely, low of 15.
Tuesday: A 70 percent chance of snow before noon, then tapering into flurries, otherwise cloudy and very cold, high of 19. A chance of flurries overnight, otherwise mostly cloudy, low of 8.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of snow showers before noon then tapering into flurries by 3 p.m., otherwise cloudy and clearing, a high of 20. Clear and frigid after sundown, low of 6.
Thursday: Sunny and a bit warmer, high of 35. Mostly clear in the evening, low of 19.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer again, high of 45. Partly cloudy overnight, low of 32.
