The Midstate will warm into the low 60s by midweek with rain chances daily before a Friday cool down and a chance of snow.

NASHVILLE, TN β€” Finally, things will warm up across Middle Tennessee this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. By midweek, high temperatures may even reach into the 60s, but after a rainy and warmer week, snow chances push in Friday night.

Monday: An 80 percent chance of rain and warmer, high of 41. Winds of 5 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. A 40 percent chance of rain overnight, otherwise cloudy, low of 35.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and warmer with a 20 percent chance of showers, a high of 51. Mostly cloudy after sundown with a 20 percent chance of showers, low of 44.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and even warmer, high of 60. Mostly cloudy in the evening with a 30 percent chance of showers, low of 54.

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy, high of 62. A 70 percent chance of showers after dark, low of 41.
