Crosby's 22-year-old twin daughters, Ashanta and Ashanti, said two people immediately stopped and comforted their mother while waiting for help to arrive, but they urged the driver who hit her to come forward.
"We just want you to come forward and let us know what actually happened that night," Ashanta Burt told WKRN. "I'm sure you probably feel bad. You should feel bad. I just want you to come forward and let us know what actually happened. Maybe we can go forward from there, so we can get some type of closure."
