Arkansas Man Hid Heroin Inside Fire Extinguisher: Police
A 25-year-old Arkansas man was transporting heroin inside of a fire extinguisher in his car, according to Metro Police.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A Metro K-9 officer helped his human colleagues find heroin in a most unusual place Wednesday.
A Metro Police narcotics officer pulled over a car in which Roberto Hernandez, 25, was a passenger. During the investigation, Boston, a K-9 officer, indicated drugs were in the car's trunk. The driver of the car allowed the detective to search the trunk, in which he allegedly discovered a fire extinguisher which appeared to have cut marks on it, according to an affidavit.

Stuffed inside: more than 17 pounds of heroin. Hernandez reportedly told the detective he'd been given the fire extinguisher by a person on the street who told him he'd give him a job if he transported the fire extinguisher.
Hernandez is charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
