NASHVILLE, TN -- Nashville voters will become very friendly with their neighborhood poll workers in May.
The Davidson County Election Commission officially re-scheduled the special election for Metro mayor for May 24 Wednesday, following a ruling from the state Supreme Court this week that the election to complete former Mayor Megan Barry's term could not be delayed until August.
Early voting in that election will run May 4 through May 19. A runoff, if necessary, is scheduled for June 28.
