To capture the ways life has changed, award-winning photographer John Partipilo spent several weeks in the community and the result is an eight-part series of photos.
At 8th and Roast coffee shop, new public health protocols have completely altered the way the business operates. Customers wearing masks gathered at tables that are distanced so that people remain more than six feet apart.

Baristas, also wearing masks, take time to wipe down surfaces, including the coffee shopβs front door at regular intervals. 8th and Roast owners have also placed bottles of hand sanitizer on every table.
