Here are the top three stories in Nashville today:

  1. Nashville police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old critically injured in West Nashville. On Mar. 8, police found the young man shot at least five times in his upper and lower extremities in the 5000 block of Maudina Drive just before 12:30 a.m. (WKRN News 2)
  2. Christopher Scott Hall, 29, was charged with vandalism with damage costing more than $1,000 after spilling tea in a Nashville McDonald’s. According to police, Hall was trespassing and asked to leave the restaurant, located at 2700 West End Ave., when he became "irate" and pulled two large iced tea urns off the counter, spilling several gallons of tea. He was also charged with aggravated trespassing, resisting arrest, and evading arrest. (WSMV 4)
  3. Metro Nashville Police arrested three men on Mar. 7 after a routine drug surveillance operation of a gas station on Stewarts Ferry Pike. After witnessing a possible drug deal and traffic violations, police found 119 blue M30 oxycodone pills, two weapons, fentanyl, meth, a mix of heroin and fentanyl, and other pills in a vehicle at the intersection of Nashboro Boulevard and Bell Road. The three men in the vehicle all had outstanding warrants as well. Keyon Parker and Anthony Boykin were both charged with unlawful possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, theft of a firearm, and multiple other drug and weapons charges. The third suspect was charged with a misdemeanor. (WKRN News 2)
