President Donald Trump's Nashville Visit: What To Know

NASHVILLE, TN -- Donald Trump will visit Nashville for the second time since his inauguration Monday, Jan. 8 when he is scheduled to address the Farm Bureau Federation's 99th Annual Convention at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center.

The White House announced Friday the President is expected to land in Nashville at 2:05 p.m. Monday.

The general public can attend the convention. Farm Bureau members can purchase tickets for $100 and non-members for $250. Organizers expect the hall where the president will speak to be full and that overflow rooms will be available.

For those not attending, the biggest concern is, of course, traffic. Neither Metro Police nor the United States Secret Service have announced the route the motorcade will take, which is not unusual, but it's likely both Interstate 40 and Briley Parkway will be closed or delayed during the president's arrival and departure from Opryland. Traffic on the Opryland area secondary streets is also likely to be congested.
