Would-Be Robbers Try To Play, Get Played Themselves: MNPD
A pair of men trying to rob a security guard were shot by said security guard, according to police.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A robbery bid near Fisk University went sideways when the would-be victim shot the pair attempting to hold her up.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday, two men approached a woman as she was getting in her car, but she was able to fight them off and then grab a loaded gun from inside her car, firing at the men.
The men then fled, leaving a small trail of blood at the scene.

Shortly thereafter, a man arrived at a nearby emergency room with a gunshot wound but denied his involvement in the robbery.
An investigation is ongoing.
