• Body found by landowner in Marion County woods (timesfreepress.com) — Investigators are probing a suspected homicide after a landowner found a man’s decomposed body in woods north of Jasper, with state agents also leading a related death investigation in the Marion County town of New Hope. Authorities say the victim has not yet been identified, but visible tattoos and DNA testing may help, and an autopsy is pending to learn more about who he was and how he died.
