• County pushes split zoning commission vote to March (timesfreepress.com) — Ridgeside’s role in local zoning could change as Hamilton County delays a March vote on breaking up the regional planning commission that now serves Chattanooga, Ridgeside, Lakesite and unincorporated areas. If the split is approved, Ridgeside’s elected leaders would have to take formal action on whether to keep participating in the shared planning structure that guides development and subdivision decisions.
