• Help Center has moved to old middle school property (spartalive.com) — Sparta-White County Help Center has moved into the old middle school band building by the soccer fields at High School Street and East Bronson, with a larger space and better parking. The center is now open Monday–Friday from 1–4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.–noon, and residents are encouraged to donate food and clothing or stop by to see the new facility.
   

• Nonverbal child with autism left alone on TN school bus, parent says (wsmv.com) — A Sparta parent is calling for stricter White County school bus policies after her nonverbal son with autism was mistakenly left on a bus and then driven to school in the driver’s personal car. She says she was never notified and wants new end-of-route checks, while school board members apologized and promised to review procedures.
