Kyle Rittenhouse Enrolled At Texas A&M? College Says No
Rittenhouse was acquitted last year of killing two people and injuring another during a racial injustice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

COLLEGE STATION, TX — Kyle Rittenhouse, who last November was acquitted of killing two people and injuring a third during a racial injustice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, donned a Texas A&M hat during a podcast appearance last week and claimed he would be attending the College Station school.
"I’m going to be going there. It's going to be awesome," Rittenhouse, 19, said during an episode of "The Charlie Kirk Show."
Texas A&M, however, said Rittenhouse will not be attending the school.

"He has not been admitted as a student this summer or fall," university spokesperson Kelly Brown told NBC News on Monday.
Rittenhouse was charged with homicide, attempted homicide and reckless endangering for killing two men and wounding a third with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle in the summer of 2020 during a night of protests over the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white Kenosha police officer.

Rittenhouse, a then-17-year-old former police youth cadet, said he went to Kenosha to protect property from rioters but that he came under attack and feared for his life.
Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts.
On Monday, Rittenhouse took to Twitter and said he will instead attend Blinn College, a two-year public college in Brenham.
"Unfortunately, the end of my high school career was robbed from me. I didn't have the time other students get to properly prepare for the future," Rittenhouse tweeted. "I look forward to attending Blinn College District this year, a feeder school for Texas A&M. I'm excited to join Texas A&M in 2023!"
