‱ Belton head football coach, athletic coordinator announces retirement (fox44news.com) — Belton High School’s longtime head football coach and athletic coordinator, Brett Sniffin, is retiring after leading the Tigers to unprecedented playoff consistency and back-to-back district titles in 2022 and 2023. Over six seasons in Belton he posted a 35-31 record, capping a coaching career that began in 1992 and included multiple district championships and a state semifinal run.
   

‱ Fort Hood's microtransit changing lives (spectrumlocalnews.com) — Belton residents can now tap into the Cavazos Connector microtransit system that links Fort Hood with nearby cities including Belton, Killeen, Temple, Copperas Cove and Harker Heights. The app-based service, modeled after rideshare, moves about 40,000 riders a month, improving access for soldiers and civilians across Bell County and neighboring counties with low-cost, flexible transportation.
