Annual 5K And Kids K Run Supports HS Students And Career Pursuits

CEDAR PARK, TX — Ladders for Leaders, giving students a unique opportunity to gain professional experience, skills development, and the ability to have students explore interests and discover new ones through Job Readiness Training, Paid Summer Internships, and opportunity to build professional network, will host its 2nd annual 5K and Kids K Run.

Taking place on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 3 p.m., the fundraising event is open to all-levels and families are invited to run, walk, or jog through Brushy Creek Lake Park and offering surprises along the course. The Ladders for Leaders 2nd Annual 5K and Kids K Run is a great opportunity to start the new year off to healthy start, while supporting a nonprofit that prepares high school students for their professional pursuits.

This is not a timed event, but awards will be given to recognize the top 5 overall winners of the 5K and Kids K. The event will also feature raffles, prizes, and much more! For those still wanting to participate, but unable to attend, the registration for the Sleep-In for Better Ladders lets you support the cause from the comfort of your room or while on vacation.
