Austin Community College Hosts Retirement Strategies Class
The free class offers financial education on ways to develop a plan for retirement and offers resources to help you in the process.
CEDAR PARK, TX — One of the most important life decisions any person can make is to begin planning for retirement. Finding ways to live well as people grow older seems like a daunting task, and for that reason the topic is often avoided or overlooked. If you're looking for advice on ways to develop promising retirement strategies, Austin Community College will host its "Retirement 2020 and Beyond", a free class sharing resources on balanced financial information.
On Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m., guests will learn how the retirement paradigms of previous years may not be relevant today, and ways to avoid common mistakes that increase the chances of running out of money as assets are distributed in retirement. The class is designed to offer comprehensive and easily understood financial education, and learn about the pitfalls and risks that exist and often derail today's retirees. This class is entirely educational, and no products or services will be promoted during the event.
