Austin Non-Profit Hosts Webinar Discussing Women And Politics

CEDAR PARK, TX —To celebrate Women's History Month (March), and as a way of attempting to answer where women stand in the greater political struggles of today, 100 years after securing the right to vote, HERdacity will host an educational and empowering conversation by Dr. Joy Wiggins. The webinar, Women: From the Margins to Mainstream, will discuss the politics and activism that occurred to bring women to this point in history, and how to continue to move forward together.

The webinar will offer an opportunity to learn about those who paved the way and how women continue to shatter ceilings today. Learn about the different feminist movements that promoted women's right throughout the year; how society and the education system overlook teaching about these epic movements; and how to interrupt taught/learned biases.
