  2. Cedar Park Police launched Bring Me Home, a free service to help individuals who have difficulty communicating with first responders get back to their families if lost. "CPPD says Bring Me Home is particularly intended to serve individuals with autism, Down Syndrome, Alzheimer’s, dementia or any other developmental or intellectual disability." The program will streamline a database for both family and law enforcement to help find a loved one who may have wandered away. (Fox 7 Austin)
  3. The City of Leander encourages residents to take the opportunity on "Fix a Leak Week" to check their households for leaks. By doing so, homeowners can stop "leaks that can waste more than 1 trillion gallons each year." Leaks happen not only within the home but in exterior irrigation systems for lawns.
