Cedar Park Advises Residents To Not Remove Fallen Trees, Limbs
Public Works will work to remove downed trees and limbs following the weather event, and ask residents to not attempt to remove them.
CEDAR PARK, TX—As the unprecedented winter weather emergency continues to impact Central Texas communities, the City of Cedar Parks advises residents to not move fallen trees or limbs from your property to the street/curb or near trash bins. The City has plans in place to begin picking up downed trees and limbs resulting from the ice and snow storms after the winter event is over.
Residents will be given detailed instructions for curbside pickup, and you can watch this website and the City's social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) for updates and more information. To report a tree or limb blocking road or street. Report it here for fastest service, or call Public Works at 512-401-5550.
A downed tree may create a life-threatening hazard if blocking a major roadway or pulling down a power line; in these instances, please call 9-1-1. As police and firefighters continue responding to increased weather-related accidents and other emergencies, Public Works crews continue working around the clock to clear fallen trees across sidewalks and streets throughout the City.
