• Cedar Park police seek public's help in search for missing woman (cbsaustin.com) — Cedar Park police are urgently asking for help finding 47-year-old Latashia Roberts, last seen around 12:15 p.m. Friday near 401 E. Cypress Creek Road. She was wearing a pink hoodie and pink shorts, uses a cane, and may have limited speech and vision after a recent stroke. Anyone who sees her or has information is urged to call 911 or contact Cedar Park police immediately.
   

• Brazos County District Attorney among 21 members appointed to Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force (kbtx.com) — A Cedar Park resident, Megan Bermea, has been appointed to a new statewide Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force created by Governor Greg Abbott. She joins 20 other experts from across Texas who will study risk factors for deadly family violence, improve training for professionals who help survivors, and recommend policy changes to strengthen statewide prevention efforts.
   

• Man sentenced to prison in connection with overdose death (kxan.com) — A Georgetown man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of delivering controlled substances linked to the 2022 overdose death of a Cedar Park resident. Prosecutors said he admitted repeatedly providing illegal drugs in the weeks before the man died. An autopsy found multiple substances, including fentanyl and cocaine, in the victim’s system.
