Cedar Park BBQ Lovers Learn To Make Award-Winning Ribs

As part of the RibsU series, participants will learn techniques to create mouth-watering BBQ ribs and become BrisketU Certified Pitmasters.

CEDAR PARK, TX—Looking to take up a new skill this 2021? Cedar Park's Whitestone Brewery will host a Backyard Pitmaster class as part of the BrisketU series of classes designed to teach the average BBQ lover how to work a pit and create the quintessential smoked brisket, and other cuts of beef, pork, and fowl. The classes offer participants the opportunity to become BrisketU Certified Pitmaster in as little as three hours.

The casual atmosphere setting will impart knowledge on wood selection, smoke profiles, fire ignition tips and heat management, and best practices to ensure a consistent outcome. RibsUscheduled Sunday, Jan. 24 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Whitestone Brewery located at 601 E Whitestone Blvd.#500, Cedar Park, TX 78613 will teach everything you need to know to cook award-winning ribs.

In this class for greenhorns and experienced grillers alike, you will learn from accomplished pitmasters the art of smoking ribs from start to finish. Learn up-close about Texas pits, types of ribs, trimming techniques, rubs and prep, wood selection and smoke profiles, timing the cook, and slicing the perfect ribs, including beef, St. Louis style, and baby back.
