Cedar Park Reminds Residents Of Holiday Trash, Recycle Schedule
Trash and recycle pickup days will change to include a sliding pickup schedule this Christmas and New Year's.
CEDAR PARK, TX—The City of Cedar Park would like to remind its residents of the sliding trash/recycling pickup schedule for Christmas Day and New Year's Day this 2020. For those whose regular scheduled trash/recycling pickup falls on Christmas Day (December 25) or New Year's Day (January 1), trash/recycling pickup will slide one day, including Saturday. As an example, if your scheduled pickup is Friday, it will be picked up on Saturday, and Monday-Thursday pickups will not be affected.
Residents are asked to please leave trash or recycling receptacles out if their trash or recycling is not collected by the end of the day according to the sliding scale. For missed service or other issues involving trash or recycling pickup, be sure and submit a ticket at www.cedarparktexas.gov/reportaproblem and inquiries will be sent to the provider, Cedar Park Disposal to address the issue.
Please note, there will also be an extra week of recycling from Monday, Dec. 28 - Saturday, Jan. 2 to assist residents with the extra packaging and other recyclables left over from the holidays. For more information, click HERE.
