CEDAR PARK, TX—Cedar Park residents whose properties were impacted by the snow and ice storm event will have three options to receive assistance for removal of tree and tree limb debris. When limbs are small enough, residents may cut and bundle the limbs to add them to their trash as part of the seven (7) extra bulk items outside of your cart for CTR to collect.

For CTR collection, please ensure tree, shrub or brush trimmings are securely bundled and tied, forming an easily-handled package:

  • No more than four (4) feet in length
  • No more than four (4) inches in diameter
  • No more than 50 lbs. in weight

For residents with more debris than can be included in bulk trash collection, there will be a plan announced soon by the City of Cedar Park to assist in tree limb debris removal. Cedar Park is currently developing a plan to help remove these hazards, and details and instructions to follow. The City's plan will will only apply to residential accounts in the City Limits who receive trash service through the Central Texas Refuse (CTR)/Cedar Park Disposal through the City of Cedar Park.

The City's plan will not apply to commercial, multifamily or HOA-owned property (including HOA common areas). Commercial, multi-family and HOA property owners/managers should proceed with handling their own limb and debris removal.
