Cedar Park Santa Dash Benefits Foods For Friends Program
Vista Ridge Cross Country in partnership with Student Charities LISD host a holiday run to help Cedar Park's underserved community.
CEDAR PARK, TX —Vista Ridge Cross Country in partnership with Student Charities LISD Backpack "Food for Friends" Program invites the community to participate in the 6th Annual Cedar Park Santa Dash, with proceeds benefitting the Vista Ridge Cross Country Team and individuals and families in need within the Leander ISD. Food for Friends offers much needed assistance to the hungry, especially when families and individuals may not be able to have access to nourishment outside of school during weekends and throughout the holidays. The Santa Dash is an opportunity for neighbors to help one another, while having fun with friends and family.
In addition to the Santa Dash, there will be a Kids Santa Sprint, and Santa's Helper (Virtual Runner) options for all levels. The Cedar Park Santa Dash will be held Saturday, Dec. 14 with the Santa Dash 5K kicking off at 9 a.m. Immediately following, the Kids Santa Spring and Kids K Start begins. All races start and finish at Gupton Stadium located at 200 Gupton Way Dr., Cedar Park, TX 78613. 5K Santa Dash participants will receive a Santa hat; long sleeve race shirt (t-shirts not guaranteed for registrations after Nov. 29); finisher medal. Kids Santa Sprint participants will receive a Santa hat; finisher ribbon and a goodie bag.
Awards will be given for the top three male & female finishers in each age group. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Award given for first place stroller runner! Runners are encouraged to participate in their Holiday attire, to include full Santa suits! For complete details including registration, click HERE.

- Cereal (individual servings that can be eaten without milk)
- Instant oatmeal
- Nutrigrain bars
- Pop-tarts
- Fruit cups / Applesauce cups
- Individually wrapped snack items (goldfish, granola bars, crackers)
- Ramen Noodles (with or without vegetables)
- Easy Mac (macaroni & cheese)
- Hormel microwave meals
- Canned soup / stew (pop-tops preferred)
- Chili (pop-tops preferred)
- Spaghettio’s / Ravioli (pop-tops preferred)
- Instant rice / potatoes
- Canned chicken / tuna
- Peanut butter (no glass)
- Jelly (no glass)
