Here are the top stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:

1. Cedar Park City Council approved an extension of the local disaster declaration. At its March 9 meeting, the council also approved an "amendment to a contract regarding emergency winter storm-related brush cleanup services." About 25% more residents still need their curbside brush cleared, and up to 24 crews are out working on weekdays, performing pickups. Community Impact Newspaper has the full scoop.
2. Summer will be here soon and Cedar Park has a number of day camps where kids can stay busy and have fun while parents are at work. All-Star Sports Camp at SoccerZone Lakeline costs $350 per week; Austin Ninjas’ weeklong camps are $375 per week; and 29 KidsActing camp is $385 per week.
