Driver Killed Along 183 Toll Road In Cedar Park Identified
Police Friday morning responded to the 6200 block of the road, where they found a truck that had crashed int a concrete pillar.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Police on Monday identified the driver killed in a single-car accident on a stretch of the toll road in Cedar Park on Friday.
Police early Friday morning were called to the 6200 block of the 183 Toll road, where they found a Chevy Silverado truck that had left the main roadway before crashing into a concrete pillar, officials wrote in an advisory.
The driver, 59-year-old John Alphones Brommel, was rushed to a local hsopital where he later died, police said. "The Cedar Park Police Department Traffic Division is continuing to investigate this crash to determine whether there may have been contributing factors associated with this incident," police wrote.

Police thanked their Leander conterparts for assistance in the case, which was the first deadly traffic accident of the year in Cedar Park.
