SCOPE:
This position of assistant director will be used to bring on board an individual that should be willing and capable of eventually assuming all duties of the retiring executive director. This is a primary component of the agency's executive director succession plan.

  17. Responsible for public awareness of the agency and its services within the local communities and state of Texas.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required, MBA preferred, CPA certification a plus.
  1. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge and experience in all functional areas of a business; Experience in a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of five years serving in an executive positions; Serving in a company with a $20+ million dollar budget or greater preferred.
  3. Supervisory Responsibilities: Upper management-level staff as assigned.

Job Description

We have positions available in the Austin, Dallas and Houston areas beginning in March of 2018.

A McPherson Project Superintendent’s responsibility is to lead and supervise the field construction of a project and to complete the work safely on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. In the performance of this function, it is the Project Superintendent’s responsibility to protect and promote the company’s interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to discharge the duties and responsibilities of the position. Provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships of the on-site staff and to promote a positive project morale.
To succeed in this position you must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and produce outstanding results.
Qualifications

Minimum of three years of verifiable experience, a thorough knowledge of trades and computer literate. A history with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook) is preferred.
Familiarity with Procore Construction Management software systems is required. (Training modules available)
Verifiable ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, plans, specifications, addenda, blueprints, change orders and procedure manuals. History of writing routine reports and correspondence. History of speaking effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees.
Records of conducting and documenting, Subcontractor Meetings, Safety Meetings, Pre-Installation Meetings and QA/QC Procedures.

Position Overview
The Registered Dietitian (RD) at Center for Discovery is a vital part of our comprehensive treatment team. They are responsible for all dietary services and interact closely with our clients. The RD is responsible for consulting in a collaborative fashion with the Discovery treatment team to ensure the best standard of nutrition and dietary services are achieved. Responsibilities include dietary support and supervision, grocery budget allocation, nutrition component design, creation of original class protocols, training new RD’s, and working in collaboration with the Program Director to provide dietary employee reviews and support.

Facility Details
This position is at an outpatient eating disorder facility for adults and adolescents in age specific treatment groups, with comprehensive family program and family support. Our specialized programs are integrated partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Program hours are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 11 am and 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 3 pm. Clients attend as many as six days or as few as three days per week, as clinically appropriate.
As each client begins one of our eating disorder outpatient programs, they are assessed by our multidisciplinary team and provided with a comprehensive, personalized treatment plan.

Schedule
Part time is typically 20 – 30 hours a week between the hours of 11 am and 8 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 am to 3 pm, based on scheduling needs.

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree at a US accredited university or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and an RD credential
  • Licensed registered dietitian strongly preferred
  • Two years’ experience in dietary education and management preferred
  • Eating disorder experience preferred
  • Able to provide documentation or obtain a state required food handler's permit, or Serve Safe Certification, upon hire
  • Consulting and supporting dietary staff at the assigned facility
  • Leading the Dietary Exposure groups, Nutrition Education groups and Restaurant Exposure outings

• Lead and motivate team of master data analysts and subject matter experts, define operational and strategic activities, provide guidance and direction to team members and review deliverables produced by team

• Manage the integrity of master data through processes that promote accurate creation, maintenance, and monitoring of master data

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, finance policies and documented procedures

• Execute operational process and procedures, along with master data team

• Define and execute on strategic direction to align globally on standards, guidelines, and processes for operational processing of master data creation and updates

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to drive scale and efficiency, while maintaining a strong control environment

• Create data quality metrics and reporting to validate and enforce operating and key control activities

• Analyze master data and recommend and implement process improvements to clean up and improve data quality

• Oversee project work and drive critical projects to completion within time and budget, while delivering key business requirements

**Education**

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline

• Certification in Project Management desirable
