The federal officers were seen at the intersection of South Cougar Avenue and East Park Street, but officials declined to comment.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were spotted in Cedar Park on Tuesday, according to a published report.

The FBI confirmed to KXAN agents were "lawfully present" at the intersection of South Cougar Avenue and East Park Street, the station reported. The site is between U.S. 183 and 183A and north of Brushy Creek Road. Similar activity was seen on Lamar Drive in Round Rock, as shown in photos a viewer sent to the news station.

The FBI declined to specify why they were at the two cities, and would not say if the activity at both municipalities was connected.
